Whoops It’s been awhile

Hello all,
Wow, I have been slacking. It has been almost 2 months since I updated the site. Well that is not really true, I have been working in the photo section and in the family tree area, I just have not posted anything in my Blog section. So much for getting 52 posts in this year, I just don't think that is going to happen.
So what has been happening at iTowler.com? I have added a forums section, but it has not had much use. Oh well. I have also added some pictures and the family tree is getting pretty close to 1000 people in it. Last time that I checked, we were only about 40 people short of the 1000 mark.
I need to let you know now, that I will be making some pretty big changes to the software that runs iTowler.com in the near future. The software that I am currently using has not really been updated, and the community/developers behind it are in the middle of a big ‘civil war’. As such, there are no updates, and no new progress being made to the software. I have decided that I will be moving the iTowler.com site to a new set of software that is highly active, and continues to have updates, and looks as if it will be around for awhile.
To this end, I have set up a testing site, which I am working on right now, and once I get all of the bugs worked out; I will be taking down the current version of iTowler.com and replacing it with the ‘New and Improved’ version. I will be keeping some of the same features (Family tree, Photo album, Blog etc.) but they will be the new versions. A great example is the Family tree software that I am using now is 2 versions behind the current version. The Photo album is 1 version behind. So with any luck we will have the latest and greatest software before to long. The only down side is, that I might have to reset your user names and passwords. Meaning, I may have to resend you your user name and password once the new site is active. I am looking for a way around that, but I am not sure I will be able to find one.
That is it for now.
Ian
