Out of Town

I am out of town for the next few days. I left Baltimore this morning and it was about 40 degrees. I am now in Texas, and it's sunny and 70. Its a trip for work, but should be a good trip. I am attending the annual AMP meeting. I am presenting a poster and planning on attending some sessions. The conference is being held at the Gaylord Texan, in Grapevine. Its a huge building, that has an atrium, and a river, etc. Should be interesting.
One of the sessions that I am looking forward to is being given by someone from 23andme.com They are a DNA testing company that provides both medical and genealogy testing. The last time that I looked, they wanted $1000.00 for their testing, which was much more than familytreedna.com or Ancestry.com were charging. So, I am excited to see what they have to say. The 23andme session is an "early bird" session so it starts at 7:00am, which is pretty early for me.
I will keep you posted on the meeting.
