Its near the end of June now and I figured that I would check in on my 2009 Goals and see how things are going so far. 

• Lose weight

This is a carry-over from last year.  I need to get down to 165-170.  I should get there, but again...who knows.  This one is starting to get important though, the longer I keep the weight on, the harder it is going to be to get rid of it.

• Stop Drinking Coke / SODA

Again a carry-over from last year.   This one is hard for me; I just need to do it.

• Add 52 posts to Itowler.com

Well I should be at 26 or so posts, and I am right there.... If only I can keep it up.  To date, This looks like it will be the best year so far... I had 26 posts in 2008 and 14 posts in 2007.

• Get the Family Tree up to 2200 people  DONE
  

Got this one done as of today I have 2230 people in the tree.  Almost all of the new people have been added with sources as well!

• Get a "logo" for itowler.com

 As I am writing this, in the upper left hand corner of the site, is just a big ugly white text blob that says "itowler.com".  I want a more graphical display there.  Not sure how I am going to accomplish this, but hey that is why it is a goal.

• Get the Blogs Sorted DONE
  

This one is done as well.  I have used a variety of Modules to get this one done, and it was not that hard to do.  I used the following modules:

Pathauto : automatically renames the path (www.itowler.com/node/1) becomes (www.itowler.com/blogs/2009/3/the-title)

Views : Creates a "view" or a layout based on a query, so that the list is dynamically created.
