  • Goals

OK, its the end of the Q3 of the year (Hummmm... that was fast.).  At the start of the year I set a number of goals, lets see how I am doing on meeting those goals.... Red means still have work to do, Green means I am on track to meeting the goal.

Lose weight

I have been really bad about this one, and I keep making excuses.  Truth is that I am not even sure where I am on this one right now.  I have not stepped on a scale in several months.  I have not been doing well about watching and documenting what I am eating... I have not made it to the gym yet...

Stop Drinking Coke / SODA

I am actually making some real progress here.  Since the release of Mellow Yellow Zero, I have actually been drinking less soda.  That being said, I still have lots of work to do... No coke in the house, and I am rarely hitting the vending machines at work (Once a week).  That is why this is part red part green

Add 50 posts to Itowler.com

OK, so this is not exactly mid year, so, 50 posts / 12 months = 4.16 posts a month, we have covered 9 months so I should have 37 - 38 posts.  I have 24 so A bit behind on this goal.  June and May both only had 2 posts each, and April only had 1 post.  Those 3 months have brought the average down.

Move Itowler.com to a new host

Done, I moved to a new host and the site is up and running fine.

Get the Family Tree up to 2750 people

I needed 412 people or roughly 103 per quarter.  Currently the family tree has 2514 individuals in it.  That is why the part Green part red for this goal.  Need to sustain the effort here.

Upgrade itowler.com to Drupal 7

Done, but there is still some work to do.  I am not really satisfied with the current look of the site... I will be working on making that better.

Move famiyltree.itowler.com to WebTrees

Done, Webtrees is fast and so far I am liking it.  It is very similar to PGV, as you would expect as it just recently branched from them.  I expect the differences between the two to grow in the future.

Setup a backup Server for use in my home

This one is red and green because I have the server setup, mostly, but I have not really started using it like I should.  Need to work on that.

So I am making some progress, but need to work harder at getting things done.  Lets see where we are at the end of next quarter.
